Maori Cultural Group

Te Kakano o Te Atua is a family friendly Kapahaka Group (Maori Cultural Group) based in Doonside.

The group was started in backyards and garages around the Blacktown area to ensure that children born and raised in Australia kept ties with their Maori heritage and culture with songs from New Zealand.

They have been operating for 15 years and have put smiles on many a face with their performances.

They are a family friendly group who welcome new members regardless of age or race.

Practice is on Monday nights every week from 6.30-8.30pm at the Doonside Neighbourhood Centre.
